I won't lie, I found this week difficult and I had a relapse on Tuesday and started my healthy heating plan again on the Wednesday.
Having eaten anything I like for most of my life, cutting down can be really hard sometimes.
I have a sweet tooth which is the bane of my life and it can't always be satisfied with strawberries, apples or any fruit come to that.
The good news is, I've found some snacky food that seems to help and it's not anything sweet. lol.
When I felt like stuffing my face after my blip on Tuesday, I suddenly found a well known variety of cracker along with a well known triangle of cheese and that seemed to take the edge of it, and it wasn't high in calories or sins.
The well known brand of crackers was 35 calories or 1.5 sins and the triangular cheese was 1.5 sins or 33 calories. Not sure if I'm supposed to say brand names but you can guess what I'm talking about. lol. Anyway, four crackers and two triangles spread on them seemed to satisfy my hunger.
Apart from the obvious, my clothes are getting baggy and I don't feel like a donut any more, I noticed another thing. I followed my hubby up a flight of stairs in a shop and it wasn't until I got to the top, that I realised, that I'd walked up the stairs without huffing and puffing. Wow! lol.
And now for the moment of truth.
Weight last week. 13stone 11 and half pounds.
Weight this week: 13 stone and 9 pounds.
Weight loss/gain. Lost 2 and half pounds.
Total weight loss now is 1 stone and 4 pounds or as I like to put it, because it sounds more. 18 pounds. Yay.
According to the internet, 18 pounds is the same as:
The average weight of two cats.
About nine empty electric kettles.
Just over ten dozen eggs.
All seems a little far fetched to me, but if it's the case, then it's a good job the fat loss is spread evenly around my body.
Thought for the day
Eating a two fingered kit kat, is not as satisfying as a large piece of cake. However, it does save you eating over 500 calories more.
