Saturday 11th June 2022


Hi, just returned from slimming club, feeling good.

Last week I made sure I wrote everything down that I ate but I must admit, I was waning by Thursday and re-started my healthy eating plan on the Friday.

Although I felt as if I'd done ok.

I've got a sweet tooth so I do include treats in my plan, else be honest, what's the point. 

We all leave the diet club with good intentions but then life gets in the way and we can stray, we just have to get back on it. 

Over the week in order to fulfil my quest for the good stuff, usually known as sweets and cakes, I've been eating sugar free jelly and my old favourites, Pink and whites and Snack a Jacks. So, I thought I'd let you know the calories and sins.

Pink and Whites - 50 calories or 2.5 sins for one.

Snack a Jacks   -  51 calories or 2,5 sins for one.

Of course, I do attack the fruit bowl as much as I can and then eat the above if I need something else. 

I also find a diet coke or pepsi max is great for satisfying those sweety urges. Although don't drink them like there's no tomorrow, as I'm pretty sure the acid isn't good for your tummy, one now and again will be fine. I'm not a doctor, I'm just guessing, based on the fact that if you put a dirty coin in a glass of coke and leave it for a while, you will get a shiny new coin. lol.

I've bought some sugar free chocolate biscuits this week, and I'm going to check them out, so watch this space...

And now for the nitty gritty.

Weight last week:   14stone and five pounds.
Weight this week:   14 stone, two and half pounds.
Weight loss:             2.5 pounds.
Weight loss so far:  10.5 pounds. Yay.

Ten and half pounds is roughly equivalent to:
A gallon of paint, a small dog, a small bowling ball or a small pet cats. 

What a pity it doesn't look like that when it comes off. Although saying that, it would look pretty funny if it did.
